Annelise Iacoe, a grandmother and retired Algoma District School Board principal, filed nomination papers Friday to run for Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board trustee.
Iacoe, known for posting exuberant TikTok videos of her joyous dance-music fitness workouts, used the popular video-feed app on Friday to announce her candidacy.
The election takes place on Oct. 24.
The deadline to file paperwork to run is Aug. 19 at 2 p.m.
