Reminder to Sault council candidates

What can council do to help turn the tide on the city’s fight with drug addiction?
2021-08-05 Sault Ste. Marie Civic Centre File BC (2)

Consider this a friendly reminder to candidates for council.

You should have received an email question from SooToday on the topic of addiction policy.

This is for council candidates only. Our reporters will reach out to candidates for mayor individually.

Thanks for taking the time to consider the question and submitting your response.

There will be more questions as the campaign progresses. In case you didn’t get the email, here is what was sent out yesterday.

Thanks.

Hi.

This is the first of a series of questions we will be asking candidates for Sault Ste. Marie Council.

We hope you participate in our effort to help inform the community about the issues leading up to the election and where you stand.

Please keep your responses to under 200 words. Please indicate what ward you are running for in your email note.

Deadline for the first question is 11 a.m. on Sept 16.

More questions on other local issues will be forthcoming over the next few weeks.

Thanks.
