NDP's Mike Mantha holds onto Algoma-Manitoulin

Results for Algoma-Manitoulin came within four minutes after the last poll closed.

Incumbent Mike Mantha wins with 46 per cent of the polls.

He was challenged by PC Cheryl Fort who finished with 35.5 per cent.

Liberal Tim Vine trailed with 8.4 per cent.

The race in the province was already decisively won by Doug Ford and the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party by the time the last poll closed in Algoma-Manitoulin. 

In the northeast, five ridings have come up blue with PC incumbents Greg Rickford returning to Kenora-Rainy River, Vic Fedeli returning to North Bay and Ross Romano returning in Sault Ste. Marie. In Timmins, George Pirie, PC, upset incumbent Gilles Bisson, NDP and Kevin Holland took the Thunder Bay-Atikokan riding from Judith Monteith-Farrell, NDP
