20-year-old facing charges after dispute turned physical

Two victims sustained head injuries as a result of the fight, police say

A 20-year-old woman has been charged with assault after a verbal argument turned physical. 

According to police, the verbal dispute started when the accused was leaving a business in the 600 block of Queen Street East on March 26. 

The accused hit two victims, who sustained head injuries, police said in a news release. 

On March 30, officers arrested 20-year-old Breanna Carpinteiro, who was charged with assault causing bodily harm (two counts).

Carpinteiro was released on an undertaking and will appear in court on May 29.
