26-year-old accused of fraud

Police say the accused took money for a video game system he did not deliver to the buyer

Police have charged Christian Breathet with fraud following an incident that occurred on Jan. 6.

A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that the 26-year-old failed to deliver a video game system after a buyer e-transferred $800 to the accused.

Following an investigation, Breathet was located and arrested on Sunday.

The accused stands charged with fraud under $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on April 19.
