64-year-old charged with assault, uttering threats after incident in Prince Township

Police say the 64-year-old coerced someone into pulling over and then threatened them with physical violence

A 64-year-old man faces charges after an incident that occurred in September, Sault Ste. Marie police said in a news release issued today. 

Police say on Sept. 21, the victim was driving in Prince Township when the accused coerced the victim to pull their vehicle over. 

The accused and the victim exited their vehicles when the accused allegedly bumped into the victim and threatened physical violence.

The accused was located on Nov. 16, where he was arrested. As a result, Terrance Boston was charged with assault and uttering threats.

On Nov. 16, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 64-year-old Terrance Boston with assault and uttering threats.

On Sept. 21, 2021 a victim was driving on Prince Lake Road in Prince Township when a vehicle, later identified to be driven by the accused, coerced him to pull their vehicle to the side of the road.

At this time, the accused and victim exited their vehicles. The accused bumped into the victim causing them to move back several feet and threatened physical violence. After a short time, the accused left the area and the victim reported the incident to police.

On Nov. 16, 2021 officers located the accused and he was arrested. He is charged with assault and uttering threats. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 17, 2022.
