Police have identified a suspect wanted in relation to a homicide investigation that began earlier this week.
Jared Scott is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached if spotted; call 911 immediately, police say.
The 27-year-old is currently wanted for second degree murder and a number of firearms related offences.
A victim was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at an Albert Street West address early Wednesday morning.

On Dec. 14, 2022, officers located a deceased person inside a multi-unit residence in the 200 block of Albert Street West.
Investigators determined foul play was involved in the death, and believe the victim was shot.
Investigators determined 27-year-old Jared Scott is wanted for the following offences:
- Second degree murder
- Discharge firearm with intent
- Pointing a firearm
- Possession of a loaded firearm
- Careless use of a firearm
- Carry concealed weapon
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized
- Fail to comply with condition of an undertaking
- Fail to comply with condition of a judicial release order
Jared Scott should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see them, do not approach, call 911 immediately.
