Police say the accused entered a business in the 400 block of Great Northern Road during the evening hours, selected multiple items and left without paying for them. When staff tried to stop the accused outside the business, the accused threatened them with a knife and fled the area.

Officers attempted to locate a person matching the description.

As a result, Peter Tarbox, 43, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking (two counts)

Tarbox was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
