Arrest made after window smashed downtown

A 33-year-old is facing a mischief charge as a result

Police were called to a downtown business in the 300 block of Queen Street East on Wednesday night and a person has been charged with mischief as a result.

Around 8:45 p.m. Sault Ste.Marie Police Service patrol services officers were called to the scene where they saw a window had been broken. The value of the damage was approximately $3,000.

Further investigation identified a suspect who was located a short time later.

Daniel Robertson, 33, has been charged with mischief under $5,000 as a result and will appear in court in January.
