On May 17, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 31-year-old Albert Ward for assault.
It’s alleged on Dec. 17, 2019, the accused attended a residence in the 100 block of East Balfour Street. He was asked to leave, and at that time he struck the male victim in the face. A short time later while on Goulais Avenue, another altercation took place where the victim was struck by the accused again. The accused and the victim are known to each other.
The accused was located on May 17, 2020 on Hudson Street and arrested. He is charged with assault and breach of recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 27, 2020.
