Assault charges laid after stabbing on Wallace Terrace Saturday evening

Sault Ste. Marie Police have charges 26-year-old Krystyn Christiansen-Vogt with assault with a weapon after an incident on April 2.

The victim was stabbed after an argument occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Wallance Terrace, Saturday evening.

On April 2, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 26-year-old Krystyn Christiansen-Vogt with assault with a weapon.

Around 9:00 p.m. the accused and the victim were at a residence in the 200 block of Wallace Terrace when an argument ensued, and the accused stabbed the victim with a knife. The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers attended and the accused was arrested. She is charged with,

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Uttering Threats

She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
