Commercial vehicle involved in crash on Trunk (6 photos)

Police say injuries are not life threatening

Police, firefighters and paramedics attended the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Trunk Road and Dacey Road this morning.

The crash occurred shortly after 10 a.m.

A female motorist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of a large commercial vehicle was not reported to have been injured.

Sault Police Service told SooToday it is believed the driver of the SUV was heading north on Dacey Road and collided with the large commercial vehicle when attempting to turn onto Trunk Road.

Sault Police and fire services were still on scene as of 10:45 a.m.

Police are directing traffic on Trunk Road.
