A 66-year-old faces impaired charges following an incident that occurred earlier this week.
In a news release issued today, Sault Ste. Marie police say they responded to a crash between a pickup truck and a city bus shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday in the parking lot of the 400 Block of Great Northern Road.
Police say upon investigation, they determined that the driver of the pickup was impaired, and as a result, Jeffery Nott was arrested and charged with:
- impaired operation and with
- operation while blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3.
