CRIME OF THE WEEK: Bike stolen from Station Mall

A $500 bike was taken from the Bay Street entrance of the mall on Sunday July 23; suspect caught on surveillance video

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are looking for a bike theft suspect.

At around 7 p.m. on Sunday July 23, a person locked their $500 bicycle to a bike rack at the Bay Street entrance of Station Mall.

Soon after, video surveillance showed a man removing the lock before riding off on the bike.

It appears the male suspect has a large tattoo on his lower right leg.
