An early-morning traffic stop on Sept. 9 has led to an impaired driving charge for a local driver.
At 3 a.m., police say they observed a vehicle driving erratically in the 600 block of Korah Road.
The vehicle pulled into a residential driveway in the block and police saw the accused get out of the vehicle.
As they approached the vehicle, police say they observed the accused lying in the back seat with the vehicle still running.
In speaking with the accused, police say they had reasonable ground to believe he was impaired by alcohol.
Alan George was arrested and charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and/or drug.
