On November 02, 2016 at 6 p.m. City Police received a call regarding a male in the area of Queen St. East and Dacey rd. carrying what appeared to be a crossbow.
Police attended and located the male with the crossbow.
The investigation revealed that the 29-year-old male from Sault Ste Marie was on three different court ordered weapon prohibitions.
As a result he was arrested and is being charged with 3 counts of possession of a weapon while prohibited from doing so and on count of breach of probation.
He will be appearing in bail court on November 3, 2016 at 10 a.m.
