At 6:20 p.m. on April 07, 2016, city police arrested 63-year-old Ralph Balciunas of East St. City Police were called regarding the accused breaking into an abandoned residence on Wallace Terrace. Police arrested Balciunas a short distance away. He has been charged with break and enter and will be appearing in court on May 09, 2016.
At 9:20 p.m. on April 07, 2016, city police arrested a 26-year-female. Police were called to the Station Mall regarding a disturbance. An investigation revealed that the accused assaulted another female, pulled a knife on her and threatened to kill her. She has been charged with assault, threatening to cause death or bodily harm, possession of a weapon dangerous and possession of a prohibited weapon. She is scheduled to appear in bail court on April 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. The victim’s injuries were not serious.
