On the 14 August 2015 Walmart Security Staff arrested a man stealing deodorant and lighters. A man was observed putting the items in his pocket while he paid for other products he had also selected. Charged with theft under $5,000.00 is Marty Moore (age 34). He will be appearing in court on the 14 September 2015 to answer to the charge.
On August 13, 2015 at 4:50 p.m., City Police detectives arrested and charged David Liedke, 22 years, of McNabb St. in regard to a fraud investigation. It is alleged that between February and March of this year, Mr. Liedke stole several cheques from a roommate and fraudulently deposited them. Mr. Liedke was charged with Fraud under $5,000, Theft under $5,000 and Uttering a forged document. He will be appearing in court on September 14, 2015.
On August 13, 2015, shortly after midnight, O.P.P. and APS officers arrested Brendan Bananish, 28 years, of Second Line W., on an outstanding Probation and Parole for breach of probation. The warrant was held by City Police. Mr. Bananish was turned over to City Police and released with a court date of September 14, 2015.
