On Thursday, December 18 shortly before 5 p.m., a 40-year-old female turned herself in to police by attending at the Police Station. Melissa Elliott of Wellington Street West had outstanding warrants for failing to appear for court in relation to an assault police charge. The accused will attend court in relation to these charges in Sault Ste. Marie on January 19, 2015.
