On December 3 in the early morning hours unknown culprits cut a hole in a fence of a business on Sackville Road. Once inside the compound, the culprits broke into a tent and stole a large amount of copper wire.

On December 3 in the early morning hours unknown culprits cut a hole in a fence of a business on Sackville Road. Once inside the compound, the culprits broke into a tent and stole a large amount of copper wire. Culprits also broke into a second business on Sackville Road around the same time. The culprits cut the lock into a gated compound, then cut the lock off a trailer and stole a Dewalt impact drill.

Sometime between November 29 and December 3, unknown culprits broke into an apartment on Northern Avenue. Entry was gained through a bedroom window. Taken from the home was a TV, Xbox, laptop, stereo equipment and clothing.

On December 4, 2015 at 12:30 a.m. officers arrested a 23-year-old female resident of the Sault Ste Marie. It is alleged that on December 3 the accused took two cab rides failing to pay for both fares. When arrested the accused was found to be in possession of a small amount or marijuana and wanted on warrants for missing court. The accused has been charged with two counts of transportation fraud, possession of a controlled substance, mischief and failing to attend court. The accused will attend bail court this morning.
