On July 9, 2015, Sault Ste Marie Police investigated a domestic disturbance in the downtown area of the City. It is alleged that a 42-year-old male attended at his spouse’s workplace and threatened a coworker.

On July 9, 2015, Sault Ste Marie Police investigated a domestic disturbance in the downtown area of the City. It is alleged that a 42-year-old male attended at his spouse’s workplace and threatened a coworker. The accused also punched a hole in the wall of the family home during a verbal argument that same day. The accused has been charged with threatening bodily harm and mischief. The accused appeared in bail court on July 10.

On July 10, 2015, Sault Ste Marie Police responded to a family disturbance in the east end of the City. Investigation revealed that a verbal argument started that continued into a physical altercation. At one point the accused, a 20-year-old male, brandished a knife and stabbed an older male and female. The female received minor injuries and the male received non-life-threatening injuries. The male victim was taken to hospital, treated and released. The accused has been charged with two charges of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault causing bodily harm. The accused appeared in bail court on July 10.

On July 10, 2015, a 35-year-old female wanted in relation to a domestic incident attended at the police station and was arrested. Police had investigated a dated incident that alleged in 2013 the accused became involved in an argument with her boyfriend. At one point the accused smashed a food hydrator that belonged to the victim. The accused also pushed the victim and ripped a shirt he was wearing causing a minor cut to his chest. The accused has been charged with assault and mischief. The accused appeared in bail court on July 10.

On July 10, 2015, a 41-year-old female that was wanted in relation to a domestic incident attended at the police station and was arrested.  It is alleged that the accused smashed the basement window of her estranged husband’s home and further that the accused called him 88 times. The accused also attended at the victim’s home, which she was prohibited from doing,  on several other occasions. The accused is on both a probation order and a recognizance with conditions pertaining to the victim. The accused has been charged with four counts of breach of probation, three counts of breach of undertaking and mischief. The accused will appear in WASH court on July 11.
