Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes:
A break and enter was reported this morning to The Motorcycle Clinic at 1187 Great Northern Road. 2 motorcycles were taken from the store. A 2013 Kawasaki KX250 and a 2013 Kawasaki KX450 were stolen. Both motorcycles were lime green in colour and valued at more than $8500 each.

Arrests/Charged Persons:
Cory Andrew WASYLNIUK, age 36 of 345 St. Georges Ave. E., was arrested after a neighbour complaint escalated into an assault. It is alleged that the accused forced his way into an apartment and during a confrontation and scratched the victim on the arm with a nail file. He has been charged with break and enter and assault with a weapon. He will appear in court on August 20, 2012.

At approximately 12:15 a.m. police responded to call for assistance when a resident on Princeton Drive arrived home to find a bear in the tree of the front yard. The resident’s garbage had been left at the curb and attracted the animal.
