Late yesterday afternoon city police attended at a residence on Wayne Court for an attempt break and enter. The attempt occurred during the daytime hours and entry was not gained. On June 12, 2014 at approximately 4:20 p.m.

Late yesterday afternoon city police attended at a residence on Wayne Court for an attempt break and enter. The attempt occurred during the daytime hours and entry was not gained.

On June 12, 2014 at approximately 4:20 p.m., city police were in the area of Woodcroft Avenue. A check of the male revealed an outstanding warrant for breach of recognizance dating back to June 7, 2014. The male disobeyed one of the conditions, that being a curfew violation. The accused Ryan John Young, age 21, will appear in bail court on June 13, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On June12, 2014 city police responded to a domestic related incident in the west end of the city. It is alleged that the accused, age 69, threatened to do damage to his wife’s vehicle. The accused is a prohibited driver and it is alleged that he drove his 2005 half ton truck on a west end street and bumped his truck into his wife’s car. Police found a .22 caliber rifle unsafely stored in the basement of the residence. The accused was arrested for threatening to damage property, driving while prohibited and unsafe storage of a firearm. The accused will appear in bail court on June 13, 2014 at 10 a.m.
