In the early morning hours on June 3 unknown culprits broke into a business in the 100 block of Second Line West. Once inside the culprits stole a lap top computer, tools and a camera. 

At 4:40 p.m. on June 2, 2016 city police arrested and charged 41-year-old Kim Rivers of Wellington Street East. It’s alleged that Rivers attended at Walmart on Bay Street and stole items valued at $8.91. When loss prevention officers arrested her the accused assaulted one of the officers. Rivers was also on a probation order with conditions that she keeps the peace and be of good behavior. Kim Rivers has been charged with theft under $5,000, assault with the intent to resist arrest and breach of probation. She will be appearing in court on July 4, 2016.
