On March 12, 2015 at 7 p.m., city police officers responded to a report of an impaired driver in the east end of the city. On arrival at the Husky East gas station, officers located the driver slumped over the wheel of his vehicle. 30-year-old Christopher George Wright of Hilton Beach Road, Hilton Beach, Ontario was arrested for impaired driving and operate a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. The accused will be appearing in court on April 13, 2015.
