Afternoon release:
On the 8 March 2013 police attended an address in the Hugill St area. An argument ensued over a civil matter that led to a roofing contractor threatening a homeowner. Charged with uttering a threat to cause death, breach of undertaking and drive while disqualified is 46 year old Sean McLarty. He will be required in court on April 15th 2013.
On the 8 March 2012 officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service's Street Team had occasion to check a female in the area of Shannon Rd. The female was attempting to hide a tupperware container in her jacket. The container was discovered to contain 14 grams of Marihuana. Charged with possession of a controlled substance is Katrina Hollingshead (age 25) of 557 Shannon Rd. She will be appearing in court on the 15 April 2013
Earlier release:
On March 7th at 12:30 pm outside of a business on Bay St. a 22 year old male assaulted his ex-girlfriend by grabbing her arm and striking her with a bag with a hard object in it. The victim received minor injuries in the assault. Patrol Officers located the male at 5:40 pm at a residence in the central part of the city and arrested him. The male in this domestic incident has been charged with Assault and Assault with a Weapon. He will appear in bail court on March 8th at 10:00 am.
