A residence in the Kilarney Rd. area was broken into earlier today. Entry was gained through a back window and money was stolen. A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Queen St. E.

On the afternoon of May 14, 2015, patrol officers responded to reports of a possible impaired driver in the west end of the city.  Officers located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and noted the driver’s ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. As a result of their investigation, 49-year-old Cindy DALLAIRE of Macdonald Avenue, was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and driving a motor vehicle having more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood (over .80). At the time of the incident DALLAIRE was disqualified from driving due to a previous conviction for impaired driving. She was also charged with driving while disqualified and breach of probation. She will be appearing in court June 15, 2015.
