On November 21, 2014 at 7:00 am Police Officers arrested and charged Kevin Caswell, age 19 of no fixed address, with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break in Instruments. He was found in possession of a car CD/DVD player. At the time of his arrest he had items that could be used to break in with. He will appear in bail court on November 21, 2014.
On November 21, 2014 at 11:14 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged Robert Desbois, age 49 of 270 East Balfour Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, with Theft under $5,000.00 and Assault. It is alleged that on October 16th he shoplifted items from No Frills at 519 Korah Rd. He then assaulted a person who tried to stop him. He will appear in court on Dec. 29th.
On November 20, 2014, officers from Patrol Services located and arrested Steven Dumont, 33 years old of Old Garden River Road, for assault. It is alleged that he assaulted an individual known to him. He will appear in court on December 22, 2014.
On November 20, 2014, officers from Patrol Services arrested a young person for Breach of Undertaking and Breach of Probation x 2. The young person will appear in court at a later date.
On November 20, 2014, officers from Patrol Services located and arrested a male wanted for a domestic incident on this date. It is alleged that the victim was struck in the face. The accused will appear in bail court on November 21, 2014.
On November 20, 2014, officers from Patrol Services and Investigation Services located and arrested a male wanted in relation to a domestic incident that had occurred earlier in the day. It is alleged that the accused kicked the victim and threatened to harm the victim. The accused will appear in bail court on November 21, 2014.
