On November 2, 2015 the accused Taylor Dow age 23, failed to attend court on a charge of breach of probation.

On November 2, 2015 the accused Taylor Dow age 23, failed to attend court on a charge of breach of probation.  On November 27, 2015 the accused was locate on Albert Street East, by City Police and arrested for failing to attend court and breach of probation.  The accused is scheduled to appear in court on December 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.

Just after 2:30 a.m. officers on routine patrol observed a small SUV travelling northbound on Pim Street just south of Bruce Street. Officers activated the roof lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle; however the driver did not stop. There was little traffic in the area however the roads were wet with snow and rain. The suspect vehicle continued to travel north on Great Northern Road, onto Laurentian Drive, failed to stop at the stop sign at Laurentian Drive and Willow Avenue, continued southbound on Willow Avenue, failed to stop for the stop sign at Willow Avenue and Willoughby Street before stopping on Willow Avenue in the area of the Cambrian Mall. It is alleged that speeds of up to 120 kilometers were reached during the pursuit and the vehicle also weaved out of the lane of travel. The female driver was taken into custody without incident.  She showed signs of impairment and upon being searched a small quantity of cocaine was located on the suspect. 

In addition the accused was wanted on a warrant for theft for of alcohol from the LCBO on Great Northern Road from an investigation in August of this year.

32-year-old Julie Kelly of no fixed address was charged with one count of care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug, one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, one count of flight while pursued by a peace officer, one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of theft under $5,000. She appeared in bail court this morning.

Last evening officers from Investigation Services arrested a 17-year-old male and charged him with one count of invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age and one count of sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age. The allegations occurred between March and September of this year. The victim is a female under the age of 16 years and was known to the accused. He appeared in bail court this morning.

On November 26, 2015 at 9 p.m. officers arrested 28-year-old Sheena Machett of North Street. It is alleged that the accused attended a west end grocery store and selected $120 worth of various foods. The accused concealed the food items on her person and left the store making no attempt to pay for the items. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. The accused has been charged with theft under $5,000 and will appear in court on December 21.

On November 26, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. officers arrested 35-year-old Jolene Lenius of Church Street. It is alleged that the accused attended a downtown bar while intoxicated and became involved in a confrontation with the female staff. The accused smashed one employee’s cell phone and made death threats to both employees. The accused has been charged with mischief and threatening and will appear in court on December 21.

Sometime on November 26, 2015 unknown culprits entered a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Queen St East. Taken from the vehicle was gloves, headphones and the ownership.
