On November 27, 2014, an accused male age 64 turned himself in at the City Police Service. It is alleged that between June 1, 2013 and September 1, 2013 the accused was with a young person and for a sexual purpose touched the victim in inappropriate ways. The accused is charged with sexual interference with a person under the age of 16 and sexual exploitation.
It is also alleged that the accused was with another young person on November 25, 2014 and for a sexual purpose touched the victim in inappropriate ways. The accused is further charged with sexual interference with a person under the age of 16 and sexual exploitation. The accused will appear in bail court on November 28, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On November 27, 2014, city police arrested a 46-year-old male for domestic related matters. The accused was located in the east end of the city and it is alleged that the accused was speaking to and in the company of a female that the accused was not supposed to communicate with or be within 50 meters of. The accused is currently on 2 separate court ordered documents with conditions. The accused was arrested for breach of probation X 2 and breach of recognizance X 2. A further check revealed that on November 15, 2014 it is alleged that the accused was with the victim at a downtown hotel. The accused was further charged with 2 more counts of breach of probation and a further 2 counts of breach of recognizance. The accused will appear in bail court on November 28, 2014 at 10 a.m.
On November 27, 2014, city police executed a search warrant at 633 Queen Street West. During the search of the residence it is alleged that a prohibited knife, marijuana, hashish, cannabis resin (hash oil), digital scales and other drug paraphernalia was located. Two accused were located and arrested. During the arrest the accused Henry Wilfred Cadreau age 32, of 633 Queen Street West was also found to be in possession of 10 grams of cocaine and 6.5 grams of crack cocaine. The accused Cadreau is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking X 2, possession of a controlled substance X 3, possession of a prohibited weapon, obstruct police and being in possession of a prohibited weapon while he is prohibited by the courts. The accused will appear in Bail Court on November 28, 2014 at 10 a.m.
The second accused Sarah Elisabeth Mergaert, age 33 of 633 Queen Street West, is charged with possession of a controlled substance X 3, possession of a prohibited weapon and being in possession of a prohibited weapon while she is prohibited by the courts. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on December 29, 2014 at 9 a.m.
On November 27, 2014, city police attended at the Canadian Motor Hotel at 410 Pim Street regarding and intoxicated female. On attending a check was done and it was found that the female was indeed intoxicated and was on an undertaking with a condition that she not consume alcohol. The accused was arrest for breach of undertaking. The accused Larissa Ashley Crawford, age 22 of Cambridge Place, is scheduled to attend court on December 29, 2014 at 9 a.m.
