45 year old Daniel Tahti of 95 Yates turned himself in on a warrant for fail to appear for court. He was given a new court date of December 9.

Police received a call this morning for a female walking in the area of Second Line and Goulais Ave with no shoes and jacket that was apparently assaulted at a residence. Investigation resulted in Dano Ruttan age 22 of No Fixed Abode being charged with assault, threatening and forcible confinement. A search of the accused and his property resulted in cocaine and marihuana as well as a stolen leather jacket being located. Further charges of Drug Possession for the purpose of trafficking  X 2 and possession of stolen property were also laid. He is being held for bail court on Tuesday November 12.

Officers in completing their investigation into a robbery that took place on October 31 to the Mac’s Marts have added a charge of possession of stolen property to Riccardo Policicchio of 1001 Second Line West.  Property found on the accused at the time of the arrest has been identified as being stolen. He will appear in court on December 9.
