On September 26th, 2013 21yr old Kylle Simon of 158 Biish Rd, Thessalon turned himself in to City Police on an outstanding warrant for breaching conditions of his probation. It is alleged that he failed to perform his community services hours, and failed to pay restitution. He is scheduled to attend court on October 28th, 2013.

On September 26th, 2013 51yr old Joseph Gibb of 173 Goulais Ave. was arrested and charged with assault. Joseph Gibb was at the Sault Area Hospital where he allegedly punched a staff member that was trying to assist him. The staff member received minor injuries as a result of the assault. Joseph Gibb is scheduled to attend court on October 28th, 2013.

In the early hours of September 27, 2013 police stopped a Pontiac Sunfire in the area of Korah rd. It was learned that the driver 20yr old Ryan Young of 406 Woodcroft ave. was a disqualified driver for driving over the legal limit. He was arrested and charged and is scheduled to appear in court on October 28th, 2013.

Overnight a vehicle was entered on Blutcher Street. The vehicle involved sustained damage to the door. A small amount of change was taken from the vehicles console.

A 21 year old male was arrested by City Police officers overnight on an outstanding domestic warrant. It is alleged that in May the accused damaged his common law girlfriend’s laptop computer, assaulted her and held her against her will. In June he again assaulted her and earlier this month he assaulted her again and damaged headphones belonging to the victim and stole her hat. The accused was subsequently charged with 3 counts of assault, 2 counts of mischief to property, 1 count of forcible confinement and 1 count of theft. He will be appearing in Bail Court later today.

21 year old Cody Quesnel, who is currently in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre, was charged with additional offences on the 26th of September by City Police Detectives. It is alleged, back in April, Quesnel threatened to kill a male victim known to him as well as swinging a machete at him. Also, between April and September of this year the accused repeatedly communicated with the same person directly, as well as through texts, facebook and phone messages in a threatening manner. As a result, Cody Quesnel was charged with Assault with a weapon, threatening, criminal harassment as well as breaching a condition of his probation to keep the peace and be good. He will be going to Bail Court today as well.
