Ground search being conducted after vehicle found in ditch with no driver

SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

At approximately 3 a.m. on Apr. 15, officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision in the area of Second Line West and Gagnon Road. 

Officers found that a vehicle had rolled over and come to rest off of the roadway in a ditch, however no occupants or driver were located at the scene. 

A team of officers will be conducting a ground search in the area this morning in an attempt to locate any possible occupants of the motor vehicle. 

At this time, officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Jordan Parniak of Walls Road. It is believed that he may have been involved in the collision and due to the seriousness of the collision he may have suffered injuries. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Parniak is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
