Sault Police responded to an Integrated Municipal Enforcement Team (IMET) call regarding an unwanted person yesterday on Canal Drive.

A news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that someone had “established themselves on private property near railroad tracks and had refused to leave when requested to by the property owners and the police.”

The individual was arrested and charged under the Railway Safety Act and their property was removed from the site.
