On June 6, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 24-year-old Jamie Cooper of Second Line West for impaired driving.
It is alleged that just before 1 a.m. on June 6, the accused was operating a motor vehicle at the intersection of Allen’s Side Road and Palomino Drive. The accused travelled off of the roadway and through a ditch coming to rest on the front lawn of a residence.
Officers located the accused at the scene in an intoxicated state.
The accused was placed under arrest and has been charged with one count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level that was over the legal limit. He will appear in court on July 17, 2017.
