Local man arrested for break-and-enter found with suspected fentanyl

On March 5, 2019, officers with the Break and Enter unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 28-year-old Cody Bjornaa of Pim Street for break and enter.

It’s alleged on Feb. 28, 2019, the accused entered a shed in the 0-100 block of Summit Avenue and took a variety of items.

When he was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of numerous items believed to be taken from the shed, break-in tools and a small amount of purple powder believed to be fentanyl.

He is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of break in tools, breach of probation and breach of undertaking. He was held for bail court.
