On October 8, 2016 at 6:30am police arrested 19-year-old Michael Huluk of Ottawa, Ontario.
It is alleged that the accused attended at a residence on Letcher Street and was observed looking in the window by a female victim. The accused twice attempted to break into the residence by prying open a door with a machete he was carrying.
The accused was taken into custody in the back yard of the residence and has been charged with break and enter with intent, possession of break in tools, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The accused is also on a bail release and a probation order and has been charged with breaching both orders for possessing a weapon and failing to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The accused appeared in weekend bail court on todays date.
