Male arrested for domestic violence
On the 3rd of February 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 29 year old male as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that on February 1st, 2017 the accused engaged in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. When the victim walked away, the accused threw a full can of pop at her. The can struck the victim in the leg causing her to fall.
The accused was arrested on February 3rd, 2017 and charged with one count of assault with a weapon. He will appear in court on March 15th, 2017.
