Man charged with impaired after vehicle gets stuck in ditch

On June 19, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 22-year-old Nathaniel Roy-Dickson for impaired driving.

In the early morning hours of June 19, 2020 police responded to a call of a vehicle stuck in a ditch in the 1000 block of Old Garden River Road. Upon arrival officers found the accused in the driver’s seat of the vehicle attempting to remove it from the ditch.

Officers developed grounds to believe his ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and later provided two samples into an approved device and registered two fail results.

He is charged with impaired driving alcohol and drugs and impaired driving blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He is scheduled to appear in court on July 27, 2020.
