Man faces multiple charges when police find suspected fentanyl powder, crystal meth

On April 1, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 36-year-old Shawn Reedy of Andrew Street for possession of a controlled substance.

During the morning of April 1, 2019 officers observed the accused in the central part of the city and took him into custody on an outstanding warrant. Upon searching the accused he was found to be in possession of varying amounts of Fentanyl powder, crystal methamphetamine as well as methylphenidate and Percocet pills. 

He is charged with nine counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of fail to comply with a probation order. He was held for bail court.
