Police have charged a man with sexual assault and uttering threats following an incident that occurred at approximately midnight on June 7.
A news release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that, while at the victim’s residence, 28-year-old Nicholas Connor “touched the victim for a sexual purpose without consent and later threatened to harm the victim.”
Connor was located and arrested at 8 a.m. that morning, and was held in custody to await a bail hearing.
