On Jan. 7, 2018, officers with the Investigation Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie for sexual assault.
It is alleged that the accused sexually assaulted a young female known to him on Jan. 7, 2018. Police were contacted and the accused was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and will appear in court on Feb. 12, 2018.
