Man found injecting himself arrested

Faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and property obtained by crime

On May 16, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 23-year-old Kenneth Hunt for possession of a controlled substance.

At 7:45 p.m., police received a call of a male in front of a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street using a syringe. When officers arrived the accused was located with a syringe in his hand injecting a substance into his foot. He was arrested.

A subsequent search of the accused and the area found the accused to be in possession of a small amount of a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine and approximately $748 worth of items from two businesses in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road.

He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 10, 2020.
