A 48-year-old is facing multiple charges — including resisting arrest — after an angry altercation last week on Great Northern Road.

On June 11 at approximately 5:10 p.m., someone phoned 911 to report a person damaging property and threatening to harm others in the 700 block of Great Northern.

Sault Police say when officers attended the scene and confronted the suspect, he “physically resisted arrest.”

Louis Naccarato is charged with:

  • Mischief Over $5,000
  • Uttering Threats
  • Resist Peace Officer

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Aug. 12.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Naccarato is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
