Police were called to a Domestic disturbance at a residence in the downtown area. Investigation resulted in a 29-year-old male being charged with mischief under $5,000 and threatening death. He will be appearing in bail court on April 8.

On Friday, April 4, officers from Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Bobbie-Jean Otakwadjiwan-Boyer of Pilgrim Street and charged her with one count of break and enter and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that on the 3rd of April the accused entered a residence on Pilgrim Street and stole a television and an X-box. Both items were recovered. The accused will appear in court on May 12.

On the 6th of April officers from Patrol Services arrested 19-year-old Nathan Boissoneau of Wellington Street East and charged him with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused had a bicycle in his possession that had been taken from a garage on Summit Avenue back in February. The bike is valued at approximately $600. The accused will appear in bail court today.

Shortly after 1 a.m. this morning, city police attended in the area of Second Line West and Korah Road after a call was received of a male and female fighting. Officers located the couple. A 22-year-old female was charged with assault. It is alleged that the female assaulted her boyfriend by punching him in the face. The male received injuries but did not require medical treatment. She will appear in bail court this morning.

Between 8:30 p.m. on the 5th, and 7 a.m. on the 6th of April, a pickup truck on Wilding Avenue had the back window broken.  It is believed the window was damaged by a pellet gun.

On March 15, 2014, two men broke into an address in the 400 block of MacDonald Avenue. Once inside, they assaulted another male and threatened to kill him while brandishing a knife. Through investigation, police learned the name of a possible suspect and placed him in a photo lineup. Witnesses were able to identify the suspect through the photo. Charged with assault with a weapon, threatening death and break and enter is Derek Maione, age 21, of Turner Avenue. He will be appearing in bail court on April 7 at 10 a.m.
