On August 15, 2014 at approximately 12:45 p.m., an adult male was walking in the parking lot behind 280 Queen Street East. The parking lot runs between Bruce Street and Dennis Street.

On August 15, 2014 at approximately 12:45 p.m., an adult male was walking in the parking lot behind 280 Queen Street East.  The parking lot runs between Bruce Street and Dennis Street. 

The male victim heard the sound of footsteps behind him and was then pushed from behind. The suspect attempted to grab the victim’s wallet from his back pocket. The victim fell to the ground and the male suspect continued to run away from the area empty handed. The victim received minor injuries but did not require any medical treatment. The suspect was last seen headed north on Dennis Street.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged male and he was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and running shoes.

On the 15th of August just after 10 p.m., a homeowner on Jemmette Street returned home to discover the residence had been broken into during the daytime. Nothing appears to have been taken.

On the 16th of August a homeowner on Summit Avenue reported a break and enter to their shed. A baby blue CCM 10 speed bike was taken.

During the daytime hours on August 16, a residence on Sherbourne Street was entered. Items taken include a duffle bag, jewellery and jewellery boxes.

During the daytime hours on August 16, a residence on Trelawne Avenue was entered. Jewellery was taken.

On the 16th of August a resident on Laird Street retuned home and found a female and male in their yard. After a brief conversation with the homeowner the male and female left in an older model red car. After the couple left the homeowner realized the residence had been broken into. A gas can and a small amount of change had been taken. No further description of the suspects is available at this time.

Between the 14th and 17th of August a residence on Elmwood Avenue was broken into. An X-box with a controller and jewellery were taken.

On the 17th of August a homeowner on Wellington Street East reported the theft of 4 winder tires and rims as well as a broom from the garage.
