On December 23, 2013 at approximately 8:15am, patrol officers located and arrested 46 year old Lore-Lei Gabow of 235 Poplar Ave. Ms. Gabow had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for breaching conditions of her probation. She will be appearing in bail court December 23, 2013.

On December 23, 2013 at approximately 12:45pm, patrol officers were called to a store in the Station Mall regarding a shoplifter. After their investigation officers arrested 44 year old John Decaire of 615 Albert St. W. and charged him with theft under $5,000. It is alleged that Mr. Decaire left the store after concealing $75 worth of merchandise and made no attempt to pay for the items. He will be appearing in court January 27, 2014.

A break and enter was reported overnight to a construction site in the north part of the city. Unknown suspects forced their way into a building under construction and rummaged through it. At the time of the report it was unknown if anything had been taken.

Theft of scrap metal was reported to a business in the 600 block of John Street. Sometime during the weekend, persons entered an unlocked storage van on the property and removed approximately $1000 worth of scrap metal consisting of old car parts.

At 7:42 p.m. 21 year old Larissa McCoy-Crawford of Lorna Drive was arrested at the Station Mall in the area of the Galaxy Cinema. The accused is alleged to have assaulted an employee of the Cinema by grabbing him by the throat and then assaulted a mall security officer by spitting on him. The accused was also issued a Provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place. Miss McCoy-Crawford is scheduled to appear in court for her criminal charges on January 27th.
