On February 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. city police arrested 29 year old Joshua Enair of Wellington St. East. It’s alleged that on January 16, 2016 he assaulted and threatened person known to him causing minor injuries. Enair has been charged with Assault and Threatening to cause death or bodily harm. He will be appearing in court on March 07, 2016
On February 1, 2016 at 12:52 p.m.. City Police arrested 28 year old Tricia Robinson of Simpson St. The accused was wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants. The accused is alleged to have failed to appear in court on 18 February 2015 on charges of assault and mischief under $5000.00 from an incident on February 04, 2014. She will be appearing in court on March 07, 2016.
On January 30 city police officers were conducting RIDE checks in the area of Pine Street south of Northern Avenue. They had occasion to check a vehicle being operated by 22-year-old Daniel Forest of Nicolas Avenue. Officers detected a smell of what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage when speaking with Mr. Forest. As a result, the officer read Mr. Forest a breath demand requiring him to provide a sample of his breath into an approved roadside screening device at which time he refused. As a result, the accused was charged with failing to provide a breath sample and will be appearing in Provincial Court on March 7.
