21 year old Jean Paul Yates was arrested at the court house today on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for prints. Mr Yates will appear in bail court tomorrow.

Arrests

A 22 year old female was arrested and charged with assault and threatening in regards to a Domestic Incident. She is scheduled to appear in court on March 25 2013.

A 22 year old male was arrested and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that he slapped his 9 year old step son in the face. His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.

On February 10 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a break and enter that had just occurred on Elliott Rd. A search of the area conducted by Patrol Officers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Canine Unit resulted in an arrest and the recovery of stolen property. Twenty year old Codie Roach of 36 Birch St. was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property,  possession of house breaking tools, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of probation.  When arrested, the accused had a set of brass knuckles on him which is a prohibited weapon.  He is scheduled for Bail Court on February 11, 2013.

20 year old Ryan Young of 306 Korah Rd attended at the police station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on the 24 of December 2012 the accused attended at Staples where he stole a Mac Pro computer.  He is scheduled to appear in court on March 25 2013.
