Sometime overnight between the 6th and 7th of February, a window at Rowe’s Baber Shop on Queen Street East was broken. Entry was not gained.

Sometime overnight between the 6th and 7th of February, a window at Rowe’s Baber Shop on Queen Street East was broken. Entry was not gained.

On the 7th of February a homeowner in the 500 block of Albert Street West reported a break and enter to their residence. A toolbox containing Mastercraft tools, including hammers and wrenches, was taken.

On the 8th of February a homeowner on Cambridge Place reported a break and enter to their residence. Items taken include a 20 inch LD computer monitor as well as prescription medication.

On February 8, 2015 at 5 p.m., 27-year-old Amanda Burgess of St. Catharines, ON turned herself in on outstanding warrants to the city police. These warrants were from an incident in April 2008. Burgess faces charges of Break and Enter, Assault with a Weapon, Threatening, Forcible Confinement and Theft Under $5,000. The charges stem from Burgess allegedly breaking into a residence of person known to her. It’s further alleged that the accused did steal a car not related to the first incident. She will be appearing in court on February 9, 2015.

On February 8, 2015 at 4:15 p.m., police officers arrested and charged a 43-year-old male with assault with a weapon and threatening death. These charges stem from a domestic dispute between the accused and his spouse. The victim was not injured in this incident. He will appear in court on February 9, 2015.

On February 8, 2015 at 7:20 p.m., patrol officers arrested and charged Jody Edwards, age 24 of Second Line West, with three counts of breach of probation and one count of trespass by night. It is alleged that on the January 29, 2015 in the early morning hours the accused attended outside a west end residence. Further he was on conditions of Probation to be in his residence at 11 p.m. nightly. He will appear in court on February 9, 2015.
